60/40
This alloy is not permitted for use on potable water systems due to presence of lead. With excellent liquidity, it is useful on steel, copper and nickel alloys, but not recommended for applications with high levels of vibration or where the joint is subject to heavy stresses. 60/40 Tin-Lead solder is available in solid or rosin/acid cores.
